Barron Collier Choir
Hey everybody, it's Annie. I just wanted to let you all know how college at Stetson University is. I love it. The professors are awesome. And the school of Music is a nice small size. There were about 75 incoming Music Majors and then a few music minors. My classes have been no more than 20 students and as small as 10 students, that is including my freshman english class which everyone has to take. This year I made it into the Stetson Chorale. But a twist, this year they decided to make Stetson Chorale all women. I was looking forward to singing in the mixed choir, but I love the sound of an all women's choir. Anyway, for those of you looking to major in music I would be prepared for a lot of hard work. Well, welcome to the life of a college music major! The first day of classes...I only had three classes but I had 2 hours of homework on the first day. This 1st semester of my freshman year I have 16 credit hours, most other majors have 12. And I have 9 classes a week, most others have 4 or 5 classes a week. But, it is so much fun and so far a wonderful experience. I miss you all. And who ever happens to read this first, please say hi to Mr. Peterson for me. Thanks guys. E-mail me...jross@stetson.edu
